Lucuma is a subtropical fruit that was formerly known as the “gold of the Incas”. It comes from Peru and its round or oval-shaped green fruits have a smooth surface and a bright yellow flesh. It has been used as a medicine and as a healthy condiment for thousands of years, as it has a unique and very delicious flavour.
